Mayan style painting courses Chi Ya'a

At Chi Ya painting school and gallery you can learn how to paint in the Mayan style. Enthusiastic local artist Gaspar has over 12 years of experience with painting. He will teach you how to make your own oil paintings, that you can take home with you.
The school is located at a tranquil location overlooking lake Atitlan at San Pedro, Guatemala. Gaspar will take his time to teach you the skills that are needed to become a Mayan master!

Learn to paint

In a few days you can finish your own oil painting. The smaller paintings will take around 6 days to finish (at two hours per day).
- Each class takes at least two hours (or longer if you want).
- Two students per class (or more if you prefer).
- The price per hour 30 Quetzales (about $4 US or about 2,5 Euros).
- All the materials are included in the price.
- Take what you make: your painting will be wrapped in a plastic tube for easy transportation.
